The primary goal of this application is to appeal to the unique wants and needs of our consumers as it pertains to meal prep and grocery shopping. These consumers want healthy, affordable, and delicious meals that work for their family. They need easy and quick access to delicious customizable, and allergy friendly recipes. They need to be able to get in and out of the grocery store in a timely manner and they need to be able to stay within their budget through this whole process. Our consumers want to eat delicious food, but they want the whole planning, shopping, and preparation process to be seamless and our application works to make that a possibility.
When it comes to this application specifically the data needed to be collected and analyzed will be through observations, mostly surveys, interviews, and focus groups will be the primary tools for collecting this data. Data collection is the quality information that is needed to make informed decisions for further analysis and research. These different types of data can help us stay on top of trends, provide answers to problems and analyze new insights.We need to find out and uncover associations between items and the consumer. We need to look for combinations of items that occur together frequently in transactions, so this way we can identify relationships betweens the items that people buy.

Because consumer needs are constantly changing, we will use the data to adapt to the updated marketing strategies, so we are effectively meeting the ever-changing needs of the consumers. We will create a detailed picture of what the consumers’ needs are. At each stage of our marketing process, we will put forth an effort to collect data on a regular basis.
